Welcome to "YeSh" Theatre Website!
"YeSh" theatre is a non-profit community theatre based in Ashdod, Israel. The theatre was established in 2002 as part of Keitar community. Over the years we've produced several shows and participated in a number of festivals across the country.
Some of the shows we've produced over the years include:
- "Cross Out the Minus" based on works by israeli writer Felix Krivin
- "The Proposal" by Anton Chekhov
- "The Absurdities of Life" by Daniil Kharms
- "Kreutzer's Sonata" by early XX century's jewish playwright Yakov Gordin
- "Wedding with the Shrew" based on "Taming of the Shrew" by William Shakespeare, "The Dog in the Manger" by Lope de Vega, "The Innkeeper Woman" by Carlo Goldoni & "The Marriage of Figaro" by Pierre de Beaumarchais
- "Him & Her" by Valentin Krasnogorov
- "Tàngî" by Slàwîmir Mrîzek
- "The Shadow" by Evgeny Shvarts
